One of the worst feelings anyone seeking help may encounter is not reaching a theraputic level because the mental health provider that you chose does not understand what Firefighters are going through.
Below is a list of clinicians who have taken the Clinician Awareness course from the Florida Firefighter Safety and Health Collaborative.
They all have been through extensive fire culture training, physical fire scenarios in full gear on air, have done several ride alongs with fire departments and they have experience with treating firefighters and/or fire families.
